CM Punk gets savagely shut down by WWE legend’s son after trolling him in hilarious social media exchange
The 27-year-old Judgment Day member deemed CM Punk as a washed old man after the veteran jibed at him on social media.

Fifteen years ago to this date, CM Punk, flanked by his Straight Edge Society cohorts, confronted Rey Mysterio and his entire family on SmackDown. Punk called Rey a coward at that time. It is something that he claimed the WWE icon’s beloved ones had long been aware of, let alone Rey’s daughter, who was merely 9 back then.
Mysterio’s kid, Aalyah Gutierrez, turned 23 last August, but Punk has wished her a happy birthday on the account of his diabolical confrontation with the Mysterio family turning 15 years old. Posting a picture of that segment on his Instagram Stories, The Best in the World captioned, “Happy birthday little sis.” But Punk wasn’t done just yet.
In the next slide, the Chicagoan zoomed in on Dominik Mysterio‘s face and wrote, “Lil bitc*.” As one would expect, the Judgment Day member didn’t take long to clap back at his so-called deadbeat dad’s former rival. Dom called Punk a “washed old f**k.” Their social media back-and-forth is making the rounds.

For the unversed, even though Dom and Punk have yet to interact on WWE television since The Second City Saint’s return at Survivor Series, they’ve actually wrestled each other twice. The former AEW star got the better of Rey Mysterio‘s obstinate son both times they mixed it up during house shows in December 2023.
Those matches were booked on purpose to warm Punk up for his first televised WWE match in nearly a decade. He went on to compete in the 2024 men’s Royal Rumble match but unfortunately tore his triceps, courtesy of a future shock DDT by Drew McIntyre.
CM Punk plans to recuperate after torrid start to 2025
The start to this year for CM Punk was exactly what the doctor had ordered. He put away Seth Rollins on Raw’s Netflix debut to get the red brand up and running on the OTT platform. The Voice of the Voiceless also cut a passionate promo after emerging victorious.

The next big assignment came at Royal Rumble, where he competed in the 30-man showdown for a second time on the trot. Getting over the line was a must for the 47-year-old. He was eyeing a spot in the main event of WrestleMania 41, something which had eluded him his entire career.
Punk eliminated both Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins simultaneously during the business end of the match. It seemed as if Punk would be the last man standing that night, but destiny had other plans. Logan Paul shocked everyone by dumping The Straight Edge Superstar over the top rope.
It sparked outrage among fans, with many claiming that the move was uncalled for. Earlier this month, Punk had his last chance to compete for the world title at WrestleMania snatched away. Seth screwed him, which allowed John Cena to make his iconic rival pass out.
Roman Reigns destroyed CM Punk in his epic Raw return
This week on Raw, CM Punk waged war against Seth Rollins inside a steel cage at Madison Square Garden. It was supposed to settle their differences once and for all. Throughout the match, both superstars kept talking trash about each other.

The live broadcast even blacked out a couple of times as Punk and Seth had stooped to middle finger gestures on-air. During the closing moments, when The Visionary had Punk grounded, Roman Reigns crashed the party. The OTC dragged Rollins out of the cage in disgust, inadvertently handing him the win against Punk.

Anyway, Reigns was there to avenge those curb stomps Seth hit on him after their Royal Rumble eliminations. After hammering Seth at ringside, Roman turned his attention to what was happening inside the cage.
Reigns’ wiseman, Paul Heyman, was consoling CM Punk after what he’d gone through. The Tribal Chief wasn’t impressed by it and decided to wreck The Best in the World as well. The show ended with Reigns standing tall and a sold-out MSG acknowledging his exploits.
