When news of Ricochet leaving WWE after his contract expiration broke, all eyes were on him. Unfortunately, the night didn’t end well for him, as Bron Breakker destroyed him backstage and forced him to leave in an ambulance. When the video of him leaving in an ambulance with Samantha Irvin surfaced online, CM Punk sent a message on social media.

The Best in the World took to X and expressed how he felt following the segment between Bron Breakker and Ricochet. He word-played his name with ‘RIP-ochet,’ meaning he hypothetically “died” due to a vicious beatdown. This might be The One and Only’s last TV appearance in WWE.

Meanwhile, CM Punk has been recovering from a tricep injury he suffered at this year’s Royal Rumble. Recently, he made an appearance backstage at NXT Battleground and gave some advice to his wrestling “daughter,” Roxanne Perez. However, she caught him by surprise when she rejected his advice and called him a hypocrite. Moreover, he continued his verbal rivalry with his arch-rival Drew McIntyre on social media.

The rivalry between both heavyweights could take a huge turn when McIntyre faces Damian Priest for the title match. Priest granted the Scottish Warrior an opportunity to fight for the title in his home country of Scotland. If Punk somehow finds a way to cost McIntyre another title shot, just like he did at WrestleMania XL, fans can expect nothing but chaos. Only time will tell what transpires at Clash at the Castle PLE.

Drew McIntyre talked about CM Punk mentioning Vince McMahon on Raw

The March 25 episode of Raw featured many superstars like The Rock, Cody Rhodes, and Seth Rollins. However, what truly got the WWE Universe’s attention was CM Punk’s reference to Vince McMahon during his heated segment against McIntyre. The Scottish Warrior referred to himself as the “chosen one,” a moniker that the former chairman gave him.

When The Second City Saint asked him to name the person who gave him the name, the Scottish-born wrestler stayed silent. Due to the lawsuit filed against McMahon by former employee Janel Grant, WWE didn’t mention his name on TV. While speaking in an interview with The UK Metro, McIntyre stated that although he could’ve answered Punk, but then thought it wouldn’t have been great for the company.

What was going through my mind was I could respond right now, and would it be a good look for our company? I had a couple of things in mind that would have melted the internet, but potentially hurt us in different ways.

McIntyre gained an advantage by defeating Judgment Day member Finn Balor on the latest episode of Raw. Earlier that day, The Archer of Infamy informed him that if he defeated The Prince, the notorious group would be barred from ringside at Clash at the Castle. Despite the distraction, the 38-year-old star won the match and will have a chance to fight Priest fair and square.
