Cody Rhodes addressed the WWE Universe on last night’s edition of Raw. While doing so, he called out The Rock. Rhodes specifically mentioned The Final Boss, claiming that he has more than “one more match” left in him. More importantly, The American Nightmare spoke about Rocky’s promise to make him bleed once again.

The Undisputed WWE Champion responded in a bold manner. Rhodes claimed that no amount of training and preparation would mount to what lied in wait for him. Furthermore, if he did end up bleeding at the hands of The Rock, he wouldn’t be the only one drenched in red. Last week, The Brahma Bull interrupted Rhodes’ celebration, handing him an undisclosed object before leaving for Hollywood.

During the segment, the Black Adam star revealed that he would be coming after Dusty’s kid and his championship. Days later, Rock expressed his gratitude to all the participants involved in the WrestleMania XL main event. As a matter of fact, he termed Seth Rollins the “MVP” of both nights. Speaking of The Visionary, Cody Rhodes didn’t forget to thank him as well.

The American Nightmare stated how Rollins acting as his ‘shield’ helped him finish his story. Nevertheless, Rhodes will have to wait a long time to square off against The Rock. Moreover, a match of this magnitude can take place at WrestleMania. And it so happens that it coincides with The Great One’s reported wish to face him at the Showcase of Immortals.

Cody Rhodes’ triumph at WrestleMania was certainly an emotional one. Not only for the fans, but also for the 38-year-old Superstar. After celebrating with his family and fellow stars, Triple H, Nick Khan, and Bruce Prichard had another surprise in store for him. The three executives gifted the same watch that Dusty Rhodes pawned off to ensure that Cody went to acting school.

WWE released the footage on its social media accounts. Hunter talked about what Dusty meant to him and Prichard. He also mentioned that Khan was aware of the same. An emotional Rhodes expressed his gratitude to the three men.

Obviously, the Hall of Famer was tied heavily to Cody’s journey to finishing his story. Furthermore, Dusty left a lasting impression on the wrestling community and is widely regarded as one of the most significant characters in the industry’s history. Needless to say, the WWE Universe found the story behind the gift heartwarming.
