Michael Chandler has finally got the ‘red panty night’ against Conor McGregor at UFC 303. The fighter got the opportunity after waiting almost one year for the fight. Ahead of the much-anticipated bout, the former Bellator champion talked about his game plan for The Notorious.
Michael Chandler was recently at the Shawn Ryan Show where he talked about the upcoming fight and his mindset. Going into detail, Chandler mentioned that he plans to throw everything he has at Conor McGregor from the get-go. Chandler revealed that he wants to dominate the former champion and get an early finish.

The bout between McGregor and Chandler is set to happen at UFC 303. The card already has the potential to shatter PPV records. Furthermore, Chandler can match McGregor’s energy in promoting fights, which gave it the extra push it needed.
The build-up for the fight started last year when both the fighters participated as head coaches at the TUF season 31. It took a lot of time for the promotion to finally set a date for the fight. However, this didn’t stop both fighters from going at each other on social media platforms.

It was a reply to McGregor’s infamous comment, “You’ll do what you’re told!” that had previously set Chandler off during one of their TUF clashes. Initially, McGregor wanted the fight to happen at 185 lbs. While it was a little far-fetched, Chandler was ready to make the weight. However, after the official announcement, Dana White confirmed that it’s going to be a welterweight bout. This prompted Chandler to give McGregor the taste of his own medicine.
