LeBron James and company faced the Golden State Warriors at home. As they came off a loss against the Timberwolves, the Lakers looked to get back on track. Playing without their star center, Anthony Davis, the Lakers were a little wobbly in the first half. Regardless, King James didn’t fail to inspire the fans and his team, as he went all out playing versus his long-time rivals.

James had 33 points, 11 assists, and 7 rebounds for the game, getting the job done from his end. However, the Lakers fell to the Dubs, 120-134. The fan-favorite internet celebrity, IShowSpeed was in the building to witness James dominate on the offensive end of the floor. At the start of the second quarter, James went in for a reverse layup on Klay Thompson when Speed recorded the moment and chanted the viral meme, ‘You are my sunshine.

Speed is one of the funniest streamers on the internet and for him to bring up the viral LeBron James meme was nothing but hilarious. The streamer is also good friends with Bronny James. James Jr. and Speed recently met, as the streamer posted yet another funny video of him. While Speed has never officially met LeBron James, he is truly a fan of the King.

LeBron James went all out against the Dubs

The Warriors finished the season series against the Lakers, 3-1. In all the games against the Dubs, James has averaged 30.5 points 11 rebounds, and 10 assists while shooting over 52% from the field. It’s safe to say that whenever James suits up to play against his old rivals, his only goal is to dominate. However, this loss against the Warriors might cost the Lakers their seed, as the Dubs are now just one game behind the Lakers.

After the last two losses, the men in purple are now on the verge of falling to the 10th seed. While this may not affect their chances to hopefully contend in the playoffs, if the Warriors do manage to settle for the 8th seed, the Lakers will have a tougher road to the postseason. James and company cannot afford to lose moving forward.

It will be interesting to see how things play out for the Lakers by the end of the season. With just two games remaining, the Lakers have somewhat of a fair competition to work against. They’ll be facing the Grizzlies next, followed by the Pelicans.
