The 24th match of IPL 2022 was played between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans (RR vs GT) where Gujarat Titans won the match by 37 runs. This match was played at DY Patil Sports Stadium in Mumbai. In this match, captain Sanju Samson won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Gujarat Titans scored 192 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs on the back of captain Hardik Pandya’s half-century and set RR a target of 193 runs to win. In reply, RR’s team could only score 155 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 9 wickets.
Against Gujarat Titans, RR’s batsmen disintegrated like a pack of cards. Captain Sanju Samson was powerless to intervene in this game. Sanju was run out in this match after scoring 11 runs in 11 balls with one six. Devdutt Padikkal, on the other hand, had returned to the pavilion after being the victim of a golden duck.
Then Ashwin scored eight runs in ten balls, Rassie van der Dussen six runs in ten balls, and Shimron Hitmayer was dismissed for 29 runs in 17 balls, with one six and two fours. Following this, Riyan Parag was dismissed after scoring 18 runs in 16 balls with the help of one six and one four. Then Jimmy Neesham remained unbeaten on 17 runs off 15 balls with the help of 1 four, Chahal 5 runs while Kuldeep Sen remained unbeaten on 0 and Prasidh Krishna 4 not out.
In this match, Jos Buttler played a brilliant innings of half-century. Butler played a brilliant innings of 54 runs in 24 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 8 fours. However, unfortunately got out. Loki Ferguson clean bowled him.
Ferguson took the highest three wickets against RR. He showed the way to the pavilion to Jos Buttler, R Ashwin and Riyan Parag. Apart from him, debutant Yash Dayal also took three while Shami-Pandya took 1-1 wickets.

Earlier, RR won the toss and invited Gujarat Titans for Batting. Matthew Wade couldn’t keep the fireworks going against RR for long, and he was run out after scoring 12 runs in 6 balls with three fours. By running him out, Rasie van der Dussen showed him the way to the pavilion. After this, Vijay Shankar, who returned to the crease in today’s match, came to bat, but he, too, failed to impress. Vijay Shankar was bowled out by Kuldeep Sen after scoring two runs in seven balls. Shubman Gill also lost his wicket after being dismissed, having scored 13 runs in 14 balls with the help of two fours.
In this game, Hardik Pandya hit a half-century. He made an unbeaten 87 off 52 balls, with four sixes and eight fours. Aside from them, David Miller and Abhinav Manohar both batted brilliantly. Miller scored an unbeaten 31 runs in 15 balls, with 5 fours and 1 six, while Abhinav Manohar scored 43 runs in 28 balls, with 2 sixes and 4 fours.
