The 24th match of IPL 2022 was played between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans (RR vs GT) where Gujarat Titans won the match by 37 runs. This match was played at DY Patil Sports Stadium in Mumbai. In this match, captain Sanju Samson won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Gujarat Titans scored 192 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs on the back of captain Hardik Pandya’s half-century and set RR a target of 193 runs to win. In reply, RR’s team could only score 155 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 9 wickets.
Against Gujarat Titans, RR’s batsmen disintegrated like a pack of cards. Captain Sanju Samson was powerless to intervene in this game. By running him out, Rasie van der Dussen showed him the way to the pavilion. After this, Vijay Shankar, who returned to the crease in today’s match, came to bat, but he, too, failed to impress. Vijay Shankar was bowled out by Kuldeep Sen after scoring two runs in seven balls. Shubman Gill also lost his wicket after being dismissed, having scored 13 runs in 14 balls with the help of two fours.
