MS Dhoni
Former Indian captain MS Dhoni is someone who is always in the public eye. Despite him preferring to stay away from the limelight, the popularity of the 39-year-old has led to his pictures going viral on social media. One such picture went viral after a video from his wife Sakshi Dhoni‘s Instagram handle showed Dhoni in the background petting his dog and sporting a completely new look.
Dhoni was most recently seen in action in the now-suspended Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise. The Men in Yellow had a stellar first half of the season as they bounced back from the disappointing showing in IPL 2020 where they missed out on making it to the playoffs for the first time ever in their history. However, this time around the team showed plenty of intent to blow away the problems from the previous season to end the first half of the season as the top-ranked side (before Delhi Capitals leapfrogged them albeit having played a game more).

MS Dhoni was spotted sporting a thick grey beard at his Ranchi farmhouse as he was seen with one of his pet dogs. This picture of Dhoni has now gone viral on social media with fans expressing surprise with the change in outlook of the former Indian captain soon after the suspension of the IPL.
With regard to action on the cricket field, Dhoni doesn’t have much to look forward to as of now apart from IPL 2021 as and when it resumes. He has retired from international cricket and is also not playing domestic cricket, meaning that the IPL is the only tournament he is taking part in. Reports have stated that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is targeting resumption in September and October during a one-month time window after India’s tour of England and before the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.
