“MS Dhoni won all three within 7 years”- Amit Mishra slams Pakistan fan for comparing MS Dhoni with Yasir Shah

Amit Mishra and MS Dhoni

Former India spinner Amit Mishra is very active on social media. He keeps taking part in the discussions on the micro-blogging platform. On December 3, he took a dig at a Pakistan fan who tried to belittle former India skipper MS Dhoni in front of Yasir Shah by comparing their centuries in Test cricket away from Asia.

To those Indian fans saying Pakistani batters can only play on flat tracks. Yasir Shah has more test hundreds away from Asia than MS Dhoni,” the Pakistani fan Haroon wrote on Twitter. There has been a discussion going on about Pakistan’s flat pitches on Twitter and as expected the two neighbors did not miss the chance to take a dig at each other.

Mishra slammed him by comparing the statistics related to Dhoni’s stint as a captain with the former Pakistani captains. He wrote: “It took 3 captains and 24 years for Pakistan to win World cup, T20 World cup and champions trophy. MS Dhoni won all three within 7 years.”

Needless to say, Dhoni is India’s most successful captain so far. Under him, the Men in Blue became the first-ever T20 World Cup champions in 2007. Four years later, India lifted their first-ever ODI World Cup after 28 years under Dhoni; then in 2013, India won the Champions Trophy. Dhoni is also one of the most successful captains in the Indian Premier League as under him, the Men in Yellow won the coveted cup four times.
