Australian women Amanda Jade Wellington requested Indian captain Rohit Sharma to get a haircut on Twitter. Rohit is currently leading India in the two-match Test series against West Indies.

India and West Indies are playing the 100th Test match, due to which both the Rohit was presented with a special memento by the legendary Brian Lara, and the picture had gone viral. Out of 99 Test matches, India have won just 23 times while West Indies have registered victories 30 times. West Indies’ last win against India was back in 2002.

The Indian skipper got the chance to smash his century on the first day of the second Test against West Indies at Port of Spain in Trinidad. However, before he would reach the three-figure mark, he was bowled out by left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican.

He would have scored his 11th Test ton but took a long walk back to the pavilion, not before swinging his bat in complete frustration. A batter of such a class only reached his 10th Test ton in his 16-year-long cricket career in the first Test against the hosts.

I was quite disappointed after getting out because I was batting well,” Rohit said after the match. “I regretted it then but I’m focussed now on what I can change going forward.”

In the first Test, he played a knock of 103, while in the second Test, he added 80 runs off 143 balls. India will start Day 2 from 288/4 with Virat Kohli (87) and Ravindra Jadeja (36).
