What lies ahead for Rahul Dravid?

His first assignment after his extension will be India’s tour of South Africa. India will face the Proteas in 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is and 2 Tests. After that they will host Afghanistan for a 3-match T20I series. The biggest series of the year will be England’s tour of India, in which the two sides will play 5 Tests

India are now going through a transition period, with many senior players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane (Tests) reaching the twilight of their careers. One big task Dravid will have is to find perfect successors for these players for the future.
