An interesting video has been storming the internet that left everyone in splits. Team Abu Dhabi skipper Chris Lynn was spotted engaged in a unique way to decide who will take the strike first in the first innings against Deccan Gladiators in the eliminator of Abu Dhabi T10 on Saturday, December 3.

Lynn was playing the popular game of “Rock, Paper, Scissors” with Alex Hales to decide who will take the strike first. Ultimately, it was Lynn who batted first.

Meanwhile, Lynn-led side Team Abu Dhabi notched up 89-8 in 10 overs. Hales was dismissed in the first over of the innings itself. Lynn scored 13 runs off 15 balls, James Vince added 21 runs from 15 balls, and Adil Rashid managed 18 runs from nine balls. Brandon King and Vince played some good shots, but it wasn’t enough as the team was losing wickets at regular intervals.

Deccan Gladiators won the match by five runs

Deccan Gladiators defeated Team Abu Dhabi by five runs

Gladiators Tabraiz Shamsi, Zahir Khan, Sultan Ahmed, and Joshua Little scalped two wickets each. Chasing the target, Deccan Gladiators had a poor start, but skipper Nicholas Pooran‘s 14 off five, David Wiese’s 13 off nine, and Odean Smith’s quickfire of 32 runs off 15 balls steered the team to a comfortable victory by five runs. Little was awarded the Player of the Match for his all-around performance.

Gladiators have won four games out of seven they played so far. After their defeat in Qualifier 2, Team Abu Dhabi will face Morrisville Samp Army in the third-place playoff.
