DJ Bravo touches Kieron Pollard’s feet before the match
Kieron Pollard announced his retirement from international cricket on April 20. His Caribbean teammate DJ Bravo might be fierce competitors in IPL but the latter showed him an adorable gesture before the start of the match.
In a video posted on Twitter, DJ Bravo showed up when Kieron Pollard was on his way to batting practice, and touched his feet. The duo then embraced each other with a hug and conversation.
Meanwhile in the match between CSK and MI, the former had won the toss and decided to bowl first. MI started their innings with the loss of their opening batsmen, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan, in the first over for ducks. Rohit also became the first player to have more ducks in IPL. It was CSK bowler Mukesh Chaudhary who did the job perfectly. He also trapped Dewald Brevis and overall grabbed three wickets.
As all hopes of Mumbai Indians were now rested on Suryakumar Yadav’s innings, he was sent back by Mitchell Santner after scoring 32 off 21 balls with three fours and a six. But Tilak Verma revived MI’s innings and scored an unbeaten 51 off 43 with three fours and two sixes. To ended the innings with a decent target, Jaydev Unadkat played shots and helped MI set a target of 155/7.
