The high-voltage match ended between India and Pakistan on Sunday [October 23] with the former winning by four wickets. Virat Kohli was the hero of the match with his unbeaten 82 runs off 53 balls.

On Monday, Google CEO Sundar Pichai took to Twitter to wish fans Diwali. He also added how he celebrated the festival by watching the last-three overs of the India versus Pakistan match.

Happy Diwali! Hope everyone celebrating has a great time with your friends and family. I celebrated by watching the last three overs again today, what a game performance #Diwali #TeamIndia #T20WC2022,” he wrote on Twitter.

But Pakistani fans, who were not happy with their country’s loss, didn’t like the tweet. One of the fans asked him to watch the first three overs of the match.

The fan wrote: “you should watch 1st three overs”. But Pichai gave an epic response to the fan. He wrote: “Did that too 🙂 what a spell from Bhuvi and Arshdeep.”

The Pakistani fan didn’t understand what Pichai was referring to. So he again replied: “I am talking about Team India innings“.

Shan Masood’s and Iftikhar Ahmed‘s half-century knocks took Pakistan to 159/8 in 20 overs. Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya scalped three important wickets each.

India didn’t have a dream start but Kohli and Pandya’s innings steadied the ship. However, no one knew the result of the match till the last ball.

During the first three overs, Arshdeep Singh gave the first most desired breakthrough by dismissing Pakistan skipper Babar Azam and his opening partner Mohammad Rizwan.

The last-three overs turned the table entirely. Mohammad Nawaz bowled the controversial no-ball. The next ball was wide, and its next bowled Virat Kohli but the 33-year-old completed three runs.

Pakistani players were protesting to give it a dead ball, which shouldn’t be given according to ICC’s rules. The last ball sent Dinesh Karthik back to the pavilion. Ravichandran Ashwin’s guess of a wide ball didn’t go wrong on the next ball. When one run was needed off one ball, Ashwin ran and gave India Diwali’s gift.
