“Horrible sight,” Twitter pained to see KL Rahul injured and struggling to get back on his feet after pulling his hamstring
KL Rahul sustained the injury when he was running to stop a shot from the RCB skipper.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain KL Rahul looked in immense pain after he pulled his hamstring during his team’s game against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). KL Rahul injured himself while trying to stop a boundary from Faf du Plessis. The LSG skipper then struggled to get back on his feet and had to be helped on his way back to the dressing room.
Rahul sustained the injury when he was running to stop a shot from the RCB skipper. As du Plessis played a cover drive through the gap, Rahul ran behind the ball with all his might to stop the boundary. However, even before getting a hold of the ball, Rahul seemed to injure his right hamstring as the LSG skipper held his quad before falling to the ground.
The Lucknow captain looked in immense pain as he called for help. Seeing the skipper fall to the ground in pain, the home crowd went dead silent. Everyone had a worried look on their faces. Even the fans on Twitter expressed their concern as they wished KL Rahul a speedy recovery.

Jaydev Unadkat also injured!

In what comes as another worrying development considering the World Test Championship Final, Jaydev Unadkat has also sustained an injury. The LSG pacer injured himself during the practice session ahead of the match against RCB. As per the visuals shown during LSG vs RCB, Unadkat slipped in his delivery stride and sustained an injury to his shoulder. With KL Rahul injured and Unadkat too, India’s chances for the WTC Final might be affected.
