South African Jonty Rhodes is currently in India, with him constantly updating his fans on his X account. Few days ago he shared a photo of him eating at an eatery in Bangalore, recommended by his driver. His driver took a photo of him on the table with a stranger, eating Mangalore bun and Masala Dosa. Rhodes shared it on his X account, but there was one troll that called him classless for not ordering anything for his driver.

The 54-year-old legend took notice of the troll and decided to reply to him. He quoted the tweet and said that he was unhappy with the reply. Rhodes explained how the person next to him was a stranger and not his driver. He also said the driver only ordered tea for himself, which he ordered for himself.

Rhodes has often expressed his love for India, with his 2nd child being named after the country. His 3rd child, Nathan, was born in India while he was a coach with Mumbai Indians.

Jonty Rhodes believes fielding was his path to innovation

While speaking in the Huddle Global 2023, being held in Trivandrum, Jonty Rhodes spoke about his cricketing days. He said he aimed to be better than most fielders and that was an innovation to the South African team. He said he loved to field and flung himself to the ball, despite not being anywhere near. Rhodes claimed his definitive moment as a cricketer was his run out of Inzamam-ul-Haq in the 1992 World Cup.
