Virender Sehwag advises Pakistani fans to not BREAK their TV sets after edgy IND vs PAK clash

India ended up beating arch-rivals Pakistan in the highly-anticipated clash by four wickets. It wasn’t one-sided, nor did it finish early. Till the last ball, the watchers were on the edge of their seats to see the one run needed, completed by India, to win their campaign opener in absolute style.

Needless to say, the losing country’s die-hard fans cannot accept the defeat. Like in the past, this time also, videos have surfaced online about Pakistani fans breaking the TV sets. However, Virender Sehwag, who is known for making the witty and hilarious statement, asked a Pakistani fan to not break his TV.

Watch the video below:

In the video, a desperate fan was watching the last ball of the last over. After Ravichandran Ashwin completed the needed one run, the fan could be seen breaking the TV set.

Sehwag asked the fan to relax as it was just a game. He wrote: “Relax Padosi, it’s only a game. Hamaare yahan Deepawali hai toh pataakhe phod rahe hain aur aap bevajah TV phod rahe hain. Nahi yaar, TV ka kya kasoor. (Relax neighbors, it’s only a game. Here we are bursting crackers during Deepawali and you are breaking TV without any reason. No, what’s TV’s fault.”

Virender Sehwag is disappointed with Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul’s cheap dismissals

Virender Sehwag wasn’t impressed with the Indian openers- KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma. The 44-year-old thinks one of the two openers needs to play aggressive cricket. Both Rahul and Rohit were dismissed on four runs.

Did our openers look aggressive? They were leaving and defending the ball. The body language was not positive. One out of the two needs to be positive. Decide who will do that because you also have to dominate against the bowlers. One of them needs to take charge,” said Sehwag while speaking to Cricbuzz.

Sehwag also explained the importance of winning the first game as it gives momentum and freedom to play better cricket. “The first game gives you momentum and shows how far you will go. Now, India will not play under pressure in the remaining matches. When India play with freedom, they play better cricket,” he added.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli’s heroics of 82* off 53 balls, along with Hardik Pandya’s all-round performance (40 runs and three wickets) helped India the desired win against Babar Azam’s Pakistan.
