Sanjana Ganesan hit out at a fan after he fat shamed her on the social media site, Instagram. Her husband Jasprit Bumrah, posted a promotional Valentine’s day video, which showed the two enjoying time at a salon. 

In the comments, a fan commented that Ganesan looked fat, which the former model did not take well. She replied by commenting how the fan did not remember his school textbooks and how he was wrong to comment on the body of a woman.

Ganesan recently gave birth to a baby boy in September, who they have named Angad. She has taken a break from her job of TV anchoring, with many not sure when she would return.

When Sanjana Ganesan’s comment went viral, many praised her for her comeback. They compared it to her husband’s yorkers, while also commenting that the guy deserved it. They called out the fan for calling her fat.

Meanwhile, her husband has been enjoying his time with the red ball. In the ongoing Test series with England, Bumrah has picked up 15 wickets with an average of 10.67. He has picked up wickets using his ability to reverse swing the ball. He recently became number 1 Test bowler, overtaking Kagiso Rabada.

With three Tests left in the series, Bumrah might be given a rest soon. The team management might rest him in the Rajkot Test or the Ranchi Test as a way to manage his workload.
