“Kharismatic Kane Mama!”- Twitter reacts as Kane Williamson smacks half-century while Joshua Little takes a hat-trick

Kane Williamson and Joshua Little
Kane Williamson’s knock guided New Zealand to a challenging total of 185/6 against Ireland on Friday [November 4] at the Adelaide Oval. Irish bowler Joshua Little picked his first hat trick in T20 World Cup 2022, becoming the second one to do so in this tournament.
Ireland chose fielding first after winning the toss. Finn Allen and Devon Conway got the Kiwis off to a flying start with their 52-run partnership for the opening stand till Mark Adair broke it by dismissing Allen.
In the sixth over, Adair pitched a fuller ball which Allen attempted to send over the mid-off, but instead, he smashed it flat straight into the hands of Flonn Hand. Allen departed following a quick knock of 32 runs off 18 balls with five fours and a six at a strike rate of 177.78.
The next batter was Conway, who exited the field when Gareth Delany served a googly which Conway tried to slog sweep but had to drag the wide delivery. He ended up smashing with the bottom half of his bat into the hands of Adair. Conway had scored 28 runs off 33 balls with two fours.
Glenn Phillips got dismissed cheaply when Delany threw a tossed-up delivery which Phillips tried to smack over the extra cover but failed to get the desired connection. The ball flew towards George Dockrell at the sweeper cover. Phillips could add just 17 runs from nine balls with six and two fours.
This time, Williamson did not play a sluggish inning. He smashed 35 balls to score 61 runs, studded with five fours and three sixes at a strike rate of 174.29 till Joshua Little banged a short ball which Williamson tried to pull but could not to power it. Delany, at deep square leg, grabbed a nice catch.
Little then scalped two similar back-to-back wickets in the 19th over. On the third delivery, he dismissed James Neesham on golden duck with his shorter delivery, but the ball ended up hitting him on the leg. On the next ball, Mitchell Santner departed for a golden duck off lbw dismissal. Joshua completed his hat trick in the T20 World Cup 2022.
The Kiwis set a massive total of 185/6 in their allotted 20 overs. Little picked up three wickets, Delany scalped two, while Adair got one.
