A question related to former India captain Virat Kohli appeared on the UPSC NDA question paper. The exam took place on Sunday (April 16).

In the multiple-choice question, apart from Kohli, there was also another question related to England’s cricket team. A Twitter user shared the image of the same and it took no time to go viral on the platform.

The question on the paper read: “Virat Kohli is the only player to be adjudged as the Player of the Series in the ICC T20 World Cup twice.”

But above the statement on Kohli, there was another statement related to England men’s T20 World Cup; the team won the coveted Cup last year by beating Pakistan. The statement read: “England is the only country that won the ICC T20 World Cup twice.”

Virat Kohli is the only player who has won the Player of the Series twice in the T20 World Cup. He was adjudged the same in the 2014 and 2016 editions of the showpiece event, where he collected 319 and 273 runs, respectively. The 34-year-old also tops the list of highest run-scorers in the T20 World Cup history with 1141 runs in 27 matches.

England, meanwhile, have won the T20 World Cup twice. They lifted their first cup in 2009 and their second one came in 2022. Apart from England, West Indies have also lifted the trophy twice, in 2012 and 2016.

This is not the first time that a question related to cricket has appeared in the UPSC exam, and also questions related to Kohli on school exam papers have often gone viral. Recently question on Kohli’s one of the best innings, which came against Pakistan at the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup appeared on a class 9th question paper.
