Former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli is a fitness freak and takes good care of his body by following a strict diet. He has often revealed the same in several interviews about how keeping fit will help him do better on the field.

The 34-year-old recently uploaded a funny picture on his official Twitter handle featuring RCB’s Strength and Conditioning Coach, Shanker Basu, and wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik. The former RCB skipper has been in decent form in this Indian Premier League (IPL) season. He has collected 438 runs from 12 matches at an average of 39.81 and a strike rate of 131.53, including six half-centuries with his best being an unbeaten 82-run knock. However, he hasn’t played impressive knocks in his last two outings, scoring just one and 18 runs.

RCB have not made it to the playoffs yet and are placed fifth on the points table after winning six out of their 12 matches. They have collected 12 points from the wins.

The Faf du Plessis-led side need luck to qualify for the next stage as they still need two wins to secure playoffs birth, and at the same time, their Net Run Rate will also come into play. Their next match is against Aiden Markram-led Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 18. After SRH, RCB will face defending champions, who are also the table toppers, on May 21.
