Pakistan’s Hasan Ali entertained the fans with his hilarious dance moves on the field. On Day 3 of the second Test against Australia, he orchestrated the crowd at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Thursday (December 28).

Pakistan started Day 3 at 194/6 and got bundled out for 264 runs after Aussie skipper Pat Cummins‘ fifer and Nathan Lyon‘s four-fer. The visiting team, however, performed strongly with the ball by getting rid of four Aussie batters quickly.

But Mitchell Marsh came in the clutch. His and Steve Smith‘s innings rescued the hosts from a collapse as they added 153 runs for the fifth wicket. Marsh, however, missed a well-deserved century by four runs, as a one-handed catch by Agha Salman ruined that chance. But three overs after Marsh’s wicket, Hasan started entertaining the MCG crowd.

He recreated what former Aussie pacer Merv Hughes used to do near the boundary line. Hasan and the crowd grooved in sync and the video became an instant hit among the social media fans.

I don't know whose pace has dropped, as my focus has never been just on pace. I've never bowled at 150 kph.

Hasan said at the press conference after the game on Day 1

He added:

I think it's better to stick to the area around the top of the off-stump. I haven't heard about pace dropping, and we don't care about them. Our focus is on the game and that's where it should be.

Notably, former Pakistan quick Waqar Younis expressed his worries over not seeing enough fast bowlers in the team. He opined that fans used to like Pakistan’s fast bowlers because of their consistently bowling around 150 kph; that he is not seeing the same in current bowlers.
