Virat Kohli, Sourav Ganguly
After the ‘handshake snub’ between Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly, a new video surfaced online about their rumored ‘rift’. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) played their previous match against Delhi Capitals (DC) and during that time, the two former India skippers did not shake hands after RCB’s win over the DC. In another video, Kohli can be seen giving a ‘death stare’ to Ganguly while fielding.
The two videos did not take time to instantly go viral, highlighting a rift between them. The next day, there were headlines that the former RCB skipper unfollowed DC’s Director of Cricket on Instagram despite the latter still following him.
And now, ahead of RCB’s match against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Monday, another video involving the two emerged. In the video, Kohli can be sitting in the dugout and one by one, DC players can be seen walking past the RCB dugout. Ganguly ignored Kohli and simply walked past him, after which, Kohli kept staring at him for a while. The other DC players, however, greeted Kohli who was all padded up to open for the team.

The Virat Kohli-Sourav Ganguly saga started after the former was removed from ODI captaincy
Sourav Ganguly took the job of the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2019. Two years later, Kohli was removed from captaincy and was replaced by Rohit Sharma in ODIs. Later Ganguly stated as India wanted the same captain in both the white-ball format, Kohli resigned from the T20 role also.
Ganguly claimed he asked the 34-year-old not to resign, but Kohli denied it in a controversial press conference. After relinquishing his T20I captaincy, the Delhi-born batter resigned from Test captaincy as well. Then Chetan Sharma, the former chief selector of India, revealed in that famous string operation that Kohli started considering himself “bigger than the Baord” and hit back at the BCCI.
