Rinku Singh has grabbed a new level of the limelight as fans always anticipate a breathtaking innings whenever this Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) finisher enters the ground. This happened after the famous jaw-dropping five consecutive sixes he smashed against Gujarat Titans (GT), fought back from the brink of defeat to leave the hosts stunned.

His brilliant finishes did not stop after that match, for his bat has been talking consistently in other matches. The 25-year-old has received praise from all corners of the country and one of his admirers is Bollywood actor and KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan. Khan had called Rinku after his five sixes and the cricketer recently revealed about their hilarious communication.

Rinku said Khan had given him a call and made a promise to him that he will be dancing at his wedding.

“Sir (Shah Rukh Khan) called me after that. He was talking about my marriage. SRK said people call me for their marriage, I don’t go main teri shaadi me aaunga naachne (I will come to your wedding to dance),” Rinku told Jio Cinema.

After those unbelievable hittings from Rinku Singh, Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter to praise the batter by sharing a photo that reimagined the cricketer as a Pathaan (Khan’s latest film). Khan captioned the post with: “JHOOME JO RINKUUUUU!!! My baby @rinkusingh235 And @NitishRana_27 & Venkateshiyer you beauties!!! And remember Believe that’s all. Congratulations @KKRiders and @VenkyMysore take care of your heart sir!“

Rinku also played another cameo against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). With Andre Russell‘s inconsistent finishing touches, KKR are heavily dependent on Rinku and he didn’t disappoint the team in their match against RCB, for he smashed a six and a couple of boundaries to take KKR to the 200-run mark. KKR then defended the target to win the match by 21 runs.
