Ravindra Jadeja surprises fans with new look ahead of World Test Championship final
Ravindra Jadeja
Ravindra Jadeja is without a doubt, one of the most talented all-rounders in the world. Thanks to his exemplary performances, the southpaw has gone from a promising youngster to one of the best in the business, becoming a vital cog in India’s wheel. Across all three formats, Jadeja has come up with crucial performances with both bat and ball as well as in the field.
After the suspension of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) where he had a superb first half of the season, Jadeja’s focus will shift to the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) scheduled for later this month. India will face New Zealand in the final and it is bound to be one of the most historic days in Test match history as it marks the culmination of a first of its kind tournament in the longest format of the game.
Ravindra Jadeja shares new look on Instagram
Ravindra Jadeja took to his Instagram stories today to post an image of himself along with the hashtag “Looking forward”. The picture showed him in a new look as his usually thick beard had been trimmed down. This new look has now been trending on social media.
Jadeja will be crucial to India’s chances at the WTC final. It is noteworthy that the all-rounder will be returning to Tests after a long gap that saw him miss the final Test against Australia at the Gabba as well as the entire series across all three formats against England. He was expectedly recalled to the side along with fellow players who were injured for the series against England like Hanuma Vihari, Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Shami.
With regard to his form, Jadeja showed now signs of rustiness for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise in the IPL and hence, he will be expected to be at his best in the all-important final that could redefine the Indian Test side’s history.
