Virat Kohli wishes a fan on his birthday

A comprehensive win in Mumbai saw Virat Kohli become the first player in the history of the game to win 50 matches in all formats of the game. The 372-run victory over New Zealand meant India completed its 14th consecutive series win on home soil as the dominance of Kohli and Co. continues in their backyard.

The second Test saw skipper Virat Kohli return to the side having been rested for the first Test. Kohli didn’t have a great outing in the first innings as he was adjudged out in a controversial decision by the third umpire. The Indian skipper looked set for a big score in the second innings but fell prey to an unfortunate dismissal.

Following the comprehensive win, Virat Kohli fulfilled a fan’s wish and wished him on his birthday while he was on his way to the team bus. The lucky fan was seen holding an ‘It’s my birthday’ placard earlier in the day during play and Kohli wished him when he informed it was his birthday.

Netizens were in awe over the Indian skipper’s sweet gesture for the fan. The fan was first heard wishing luck to Virat Kohli for the upcoming South Africa tour. Kohli acknowledged his wish before realising it was his birthday too.
