Dan Hooker and Mateusz Gamrot got the Perth crowd going as they shared a three-round bloody war at UFC 305. In the end, the Kiwi took the win in the closest fight of the night. However, what caught the attention of fans was Hooker’s wild call-out to Conor McGregor after the win.

Ahead of the fight, Dan Hooker urged the Aussie fans to get beer for UFC 305. Hooker had plans to put on a show for the crowd and he delivered it. After three rounds of back and forth, Hooker was announced the winner via split decision. The ‘Hangman’ was excited after the win and called out Conor McGregor and also Max Holloway for a BMF clash. 

I want them all. I want a BMF, I want Conor McGregor. I want the title eliminator, I want everything.

Hooker also asked for a lightweight title eliminator as the win must have pushed him further in the divisional rankings. During the fight, both fighters gave everything they had in their arsenal to win the fight. Mateusz Gamrot tried to mix it up with strikes as well as multiple takedown attempts.

Although Gamrot was successful in taking Hooker down, he couldn’t finish him. On the other hand, Hooker, who preferred the fight on the feet, did his best to defend takedowns. He even got his opponent in a guillotine but again there were no finishes.

Dan ‘The Hangman’ Hooker just loves fighting 

Dan Hooker vs. Mateusz Gamrot was worth the hype as both fighters did their best for three rounds in order to get a win. Both were equally matched on the feet as well as on the ground. It was yet again a classic example of Hooker’s grit as a MMA fighter.

Earlier in the fight, Hooker got a nasty cut and it opened up as the fight continued. In between the rounds, his team did their best to aid the cut and stop the bleeding. While it wasn’t something new for the fighter, his reaction to it was really something unique.

As Hooker shared his enthusiasm towards being in touch with situations like this he laughed like a madman. The adrenaline was talking as Hooker likes to fight like this. In the past, he has been in some nasty wars. One was his iconic five-round fight with Dustin Poirier UFC Vegas 4. This fight was another testament to Hooker’s crazy mindset and his relentless fighting style.
