Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s former manager Ali Abdelaziz was all praises for Dana White in his recent podcast interview. Abdelaziz said that he was in a critical condition during the recent pandemic. But the UFC CEO reportedly took care of Abdelziz the entire time he was under medical care.
Ali Abdelaziz recently sat down for a conversation on the Show Me the Money podcast. During the conversation, Abdelaziz revealed how Dana White made sure he was taken care of when he got COVID-19.
When I got COVID, like I was telling you earlier, I was dying. I went to different hospital. He called. Hunter called. Three weeks, they make sure I was taken care of. I got like a suite. They treated me; I was like the president of the United States. Dana's a great guy, man; a great family, his wife, kids, These are good people.Ali Abdelaziz via Show Me the Money
Abdelaziz narrated how generous and honorable of a man Dana White was. He described Dana as a great human being. There have been many such stories involving the UFC CEO.
White himself narrated the story of how he took care of his staff during the pandemic. Reportedly no UFC staff lost their job during COVID-19. All of them were paid, and reportedly, White made sure his staff had all the necessary amenities during such critical conditions. The UFC CEO’s estimated net worth stands at around $500 million.
Dana White paid Kamaru Usman out of pocket after resolving conflict
Kamaru Usman and Dana White had a public conflict in the past. In 2018, Usman defeated Emil Meek, but his comments after the fight upset White. The two went back and forth with each other, and for a long time, they had a difficult relationship.
Ali Abdelaziz revealed during his podcast appearance what Dana White did when Kamaru Usman fought Colby Covington.
Not too many know about this. When Kamaru fought Colby Covington right, Kamaru was talking a lot of s*** about Dana and this and this and this…At one point Dana didn’t like Kamaru. Like he thought I worked so hard to get this to like this. And now they have a great relationship right. And Kamaru did really well in this fight… From his own money, Dana took care of Kamaru. He very much gave him a bag.

Usman and Meek’s fight was underwhelming for many fans. The audience booed Usman loudly, and he later claimed that he only won the fight at “30%”. It appeared as if he said he only gave his 30% to the fight and still won. Dana White was upset with Usman’s comments and said he did not enjoy The Nigerian Nightmare’s fight. Usman later blamed the UFC CEO for misconstruing what he said. He clarified that he meant he fought Meek at only 30% health. However, they have a great relationship now, and the UFC CEO even made an appearance on Usman’s new podcast.
