Danhausen was a guest on The Stephan A. Smith Show and the two were discussing the recently-concluded NBA finals. The WWE Superstar gained unprecedented fame after the New York Knicks went on to become the 2026 NBA Champions on the back of getting uncursed by him.

The Knicks went undefeated for thirteen straight games after Danhausen lifted the curse from the Jalen Brunson-led side in late April. They just lost Game 3 of the NBA Finals held at Madison Square Garden, and it was something the WWE star didn’t want to talk about. He said it wasn’t his fault.

Smith chimed in saying it was on Donald Trump, who attended that game and was booed heavily. Despite repeated attempts to blame Trump for the Knicks losing that night, Danhausen avoided commenting on it and affirmed he didn’t say so. The 35-year-old, however, just added that sometimes his powers get blocked, which happened the same night as POTUS Trump in attendance.

Danhausen declared himself the King of New York City after the Knicks lifted the Larry O’Brien Championship trophy for the third time in the franchise’s history. The undefeated WWE star put out a list of demands also, one of which saw him asking Mayor Mamdani to let him do a victory parade of his own.

In a disappointing piece of news, Danhausen wasn’t a part of the championship victory parade of the New York Knicks on Thursday. Nonetheless, he’s been revealed as the poster boy of WWE’s upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event taping at MSG on July 18. It has the tagline saying, “Join The Uncursed.”

The company was already planning for him to be involved at the show in the event of the New York Knicks becoming the NBA champions. The fans should definitely expect the man who’s ‘Very Nice and Very Evil’ to be heavily factored into the show.

Danhausen refused to curse Oba Femi on this week’s Raw

This past Monday on Raw, Danhausen was approached twice for putting a curse on Oba Femi. First off, it was Dominik Mysterio‘s girlfriend Liv Morgan‘s turn to see if she could get the job done. However, Morgan wasn’t willing to fulfill the long list of demands that the superstar with the face paint had.

Later on, Mysterio himself approached Danhausen as ‘Dom’ and JD McDonagh offered him $100,000 in cash to curse Femi ahead of the latter’s King of the Ring semifinals match with Mysterio in the main event of Raw. The former AEW star amusingly declined to curse ‘The Ruler’ and even dipped out with the money.

The Judgment Day members were left fuming. Later on, Femi destroyed Mysterio to get one step closer to the King of the Ring crown. Danhausen’s refusal to get in any sort of trouble with ‘The Ruler’ was a smart move on his part. He wants nothing to do with the man who destroyed Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42.

It’s also worth mentioning that Mysterio was the first WWE Superstar to get cursed by Danhausen back in March. It resulted in ‘Dirty Dom’ losing the Intercontinental Championship to Penta on the same night. So it’s pretty much apparent that the current AAA Mega Champion is probably the worst-hit star on the WWE roster, and he doesn’t appear to catch a break from Danhausen.
