Deebo Samuel went through the shock and pain of his San Francisco 49ers teammate Ricky Pearsall getting shot by a 17-year-old during the weekend. In the wake of the unfortunate incident, Samuel has a message for everyone.
On Monday, the 49ers wide receiver posted a clip to Instagram while driving his car. He wanted to remind everyone, especially public figures, about being weary of revealing their locations on social media.
I don’t think y’all people actually know how dangerous it is that you be recording people while they are eating and posting it like… do y’all like think [if] it’s actually safe to be doing it?Deebo Samuel said
The Pro Bowler advised fans to think before taking pictures and sharing them for everyone to see because it may prove to be a privacy hazard.
Start thinking about the privacy and think about their well-being, because at any point anybody can pull up… I mean this world ain’t so big. Anybody can pull up and do something like… I would advise you all to respect people’s privacy.Deebo Samuel added

Deebo Samuel describes how to approach someone and refrain from disturbing their privacy
In Samuel’s view, people should be more thoughtful and ask for consent before taking a picture or just starting a conversation.
If anything at all, go ask for a picture politely, like, ‘Excuse me, I know you eating, but do you mind taking a picture?’ Don’t just be trying to hide, recording the fella, like too much is going on in the world… Yeah!!! It’s just too much going on. You don’t know what people’s intentions are.Deebo Samuel quipped
There’s definitely a lot going on. The 49ers rookie Ricky Pearsall was shot at Union Square during the weekend during an attempted robbery by a teenager. The bullet hit his chest and went out from the back. He was quickly admitted to the SF General Hospital. Ricky’s mother, Erin Pearsall, posted a message on Facebook thanking everyone for sending prayers for her son.
On Sunday, the hospital announced that they had discharged Pearsall, but he would remain under strict surveillance. The 49ers also put the Florida Gators alumni on injured reserve.
Furthermore, NBC Sports Bay Area revealed the name of the officer who was first on the scene after hearing about the gunshot. Sgt. Joelle Harrell received the news from dispatch and arrived to see two bloodied men. With the help of the medical team, she transferred both of them to the hospital.
