Deontay Wilder‘s fiancee, Telli Swift, filed charges of domestic violence against him. As such, the court granted Swift a temporary restraining order against Wilder. Swift, a reality TV personality, claims the former WBC champion subjected her to both physical and psychological abuse. This has occurred numerous times over the last six years.

The TRO mandates that Wilder must keep a minimum distance of 100 yards from Swift and their six-year-old daughter until June 25. After that, the pair is set to go to court to determine what will happen next. A recent TMZ Sports article states that Telli Swift was forcefully removed from their residence and thus lived with her daughter in Los Angeles. Boxing reporter Michael Benson tweeted some horrifying details:

In her petition for a restraining order, Swift claimed that ‘The Bronze Bomber‘ had suffocated her on a minimum of five occasions since 2018. She also stated that Wilder had spat at her on several occasions. Subsequently, she shared a story about an episode in which he forced her face into a pillow in a moment of extreme anger.

During this incident, she stated that she almost suffocated. In addition, Swift also alleged that in the middle of April, Wilder illegally accessed her computer. After this, he sent upsetting emails to her private and work-related contacts without her permission.

Before their relationship, Deontay Wilder was married to Jessica Scales. Wilder married Scales back in 2009. However, their union faced difficulties over time, resulting in their split and final divorce. Hence, after eight years of marriage, they decided to split in 2017.

Furthermore, in 2015, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ crossed paths with Swift at an airport. This was when they were checking in, and then they met at the TSA. These unexpected encounters led to a romantic connection between them. Initially, Swift had doubts due to previous painful experiences with love.

Subsequently, Wilder decided to propose to her on an episode of ‘Wags Atlanta‘ in February 2018. Both Wilder and Swift planned their memorable event to align with their baby’s gender reveal celebration. During this event, they discovered they were having a daughter. It appears all the happiness has disappeared with the recent domestic violence problems and restraining order.
