Devin Booker has had a fair share of history with the Dallas Mavericks and their star Luka Doncic. The rivalry was boiling during the NBA playoffs 2022 when they faced each other in the WCF semifinals. Doncic led the Mavericks through a 3-2 deficit and won the series in a Game 7 blowout by 123-90. Booker has an edge over Doncic in the regular season, while Doncic fared better in the playoffs.

Even after their verbal spats against each other, both Luka Doncic and Devin Booker share mutual respect. Even during the NBA Christmas Day matchup, they shared a sweet moment. Booker congratulated Doncic after the birth of his daughter. Now, the Suns guard will have to matchup with Doncic and Thompson, another play he has a history with.

Stephen A Smith claims Devin Booker wants to join the New York Knicks

The Phoenix Suns suffered a humiliating first-round exit against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the playoffs. It just proved star talent is not enough to win championships. During ESPN’s First Take, Stephen A Smith made a claim that has left the fans in shock.

He said Suns star Devin Booker wanted to join the New York Knicks. Booker remains one of the best shooting guards in the league. He will be a welcome addition to any championship-aspiring team. The ESPN host revealed that Booker joining the Knicks remains a prevalent discussion in NBA circles. Check out what Smith said below:

The three-time All-Star averaged 27.1 points last season but hasn’t made a big impact in the postseason since 2022. The prospect of Booker teaming up with Jalen Brunson might just help the New York Knicks win their first championship in over fifty years. However, with the recent addition of Mikal Bridges, it might not happen anytime soon.
