Rhea Ripley returned to WWE on last week’s episode of Raw. The closing shot of the show saw Dominik Mysterio pleading his innocence to his Mami while the latter walked to the back. After all, The Eradicator caught her Judgment Day partner sharing an intimate moment with her arch nemesis, Liv Morgan. Amid the tense situation, the third-generation wrestler spoke for the first time about his on-screen partner’s return.

In an interview with ESPN Daytona, Dom admitted that Ripely has been ignoring him since the ending of Raw. As such, he revealed that he would try his best to communicate and sort things out on the upcoming edition. With that said, the former Women’s World Champion will be kicking off tomorrow’s episode of Raw. Therefore, it seems that the 27-year-old will continue his efforts to mend his relationship with her.

Meanwhile, Morgan’s reaction to Ripley lashing out at her “Daddy” Dom was not what one might’ve expected. After running away from an ‘irate’ Mami, the cameras caught the Women’s World Champion smirking backstage. This seemingly confirmed that the former Money in the Bank winner had planned for this exact moment all along.

She’s kind of avoided me as of now, but she kind of has no choice but to see me on Mondays. So, I’m going to fix things. I’m going to do my best to fix things on Monday.

After injuring Rhea Ripley, Morgan promised to take everything away from her. During the Aussie wrestler’s absence, she not only won the same title that Ripley vacated, but she also formed cracks within The Judgment Day. Moreover, the Queen of Extreme continuously persuaded Dominik by flirting with him and buying gifts. All in all, tomorrow’s opening segment of Monday Night Raw promises to be captivating, to say the least.

Dominik Mysterio commented on finally beating his father, Rey Mysterio on Raw

Prior to Rhea Ripley’s return, Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan competed in the main event of Raw. The duo teamed up to face Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega. In the closing moments of the bout, Morgan distracted the referee, which allowed Dominik to hit a splash on his father for the win.

More importantly, the former NXT North American Champion finally got a victory over the legendary luchador. In the interview with ESPN Daytona, Dominik said he felt relieved to have finally defeated his ‘deadbeat’ dad. However, the moment instantly went from a ’10’ to a ‘2’ once Mami’s music hit and she returned. 

The father-son pair have squared off in the ring three times in the past year or so. First, the Master of the 619 put away The Judgment Day member at WrestleMania 39. A year later, he emerged victorious again in tag team action at the Showcase of Immortals. They also faced off on the red brand a week before the mixed tag team match, where Rey once again pinned his son.
