In the latest chapter of the Liv Morgan–Dominik Mysterio story, the pair will team up for the first time. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced a mixed tag team bout for the upcoming episode. The duo will be facing their respective rivals, Zelina Vega and Rey Mysterio. In light of the announcement, the former NXT North American Champion had an interesting reaction.

“Dirty” Dom took to X and expressed his shock at teaming up with Morgan. Judging by his reaction, it seems that the decision was made without Mysterio’s consent. Moreover, the Women’s World Champion might’ve pulled the strings to ensure that she competes alongside her ‘Daddy’. For weeks, the 30-year-old wrestler has involved herself in The Judgment Day’s feuds.

In fact, she helped Finn Balor and JD McDonagh become the new World Tag Team Champions. First, Morgan tricked R-Truth into handing a title shot to the faction. During the match, the former Riott Squad member distracted the veteran, allowing the Irish pair to take advantage and win the titles. Last week, she defended the Women’s World title against Vega and emerged victorious after Dom ‘inadvertently’ assisted her.

Meanwhile, Rey defeated his son in a WrestleMania 39 rematch, despite Liv Morgan‘s attempts to help Dominik win. Following the events on Raw, Zelina Vega claimed that she was far from done with the champion. Therefore, fans will have to wait and see what transpires during tonight’s mixed tag team match.

Will Rhea Ripley return to confront Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan on Raw?

Since putting Rhea Ripley on the shelf, Liv Morgan has set out to complete her revenge tour. After becoming Women’s World Champion, she shifted her focus toward stealing Dominik Mysterio from his Mami. So far, the 2022 Money in the Bank winner has done a tremendous job of doing so.

In the latest chapter of the story, Morgan and Mysterio will be teaming up in the aforementioned match. As such, this has prompted fans to believe that The Eradicator may be returning tonight on Raw. Previously, rumors suggested that WWE was bringing her back into the fold by SummerSlam.

Of course, this would depend on whether Ripley has been cleared for in-ring action. Amidst the ongoing drama, the Australian wrestler has remained silent on the matter. Last week, Damian Priest finally revealed that the former Women’s World Champion was infuriated at Mysterio.
