Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green recently addressed the Klay Thompson situation on his podcast. Green found humor in the situation and refused to provide insight. Thompson had unfollowed the Warriors and deleted Instagram posts, leading to speculation about his future with the team. 

Draymond Green and Thompson have been teammates for over a decade, winning four championships. However, Thompson’s effectiveness has declined at 34 and coming off two major injuries. It has complicated contract negotiations, with the Warriors hesitant to offer a large contract to a player past his prime.

Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report predicts that Thompson will sign a three-year deal worth $82 million with the Orlando Magic, a playoff team in the Eastern Conference. The Magic are desperate for shooting, and Thompson’s legendary shooting skills make him an excellent fit.

Thompson, 34, is a legendary shooter, a big name and an excellent fit for an Orlando squad that defends well but needs floor spacing in the worst way.
