Draymond Green and Jusuf Nurkic

The Golden State Warriors veteran defender Draymond Green has been involved in many rivalries with opposition players over the years. However, a new rivalry has emerged this season between Draymond Green and the Phoenix Suns‘ big man Jusuf Nurkic.

On “The Big Podcast” hosted by Shaquille O’Neal, Green claimed that Nurkic is nowhere near Green’s legacy as a player. He also claimed that Nurkic would not have even half of his NBA playoff wins if Green were to sleep for 5 years straight. This dig was quite harsh on Nurkic, especially after his side was knocked out early in the NBA playoffs by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

How are you going to tweet at us 'That's all folks!' and you've got the worst playoff record in NBA history," Green continued. "But you're going to tweet 'That's all folks!' I can go to sleep for five years, wake up and you still won't have half the playoff wins we've accumulated. How are you going to tweet that? But I need help?

Interestingly, Green’s recent trolling spree, along with his podcast jabs and social media actions, emphasizes the NBA’s interesting and often trivial dynamics. The heated rivalry between the two big men is expected to continue in the coming seasons.

Jusuf Nurkic did not hold back against Draymond Green’s trolls

The Phoenix Suns’ Jusuf Nurkic and the Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green have been going at each other on and off the court this 2023-24 NBA season. Green appeared to criticize and troll Nurkic regarding his inclusion in the Suns’ roster. However, Nurkic did not let this slide and gave Green a taste of his own medicine.

Nurkic took to social media platform X to troll the Warriors’ star.

I see that brother still needs help. Still (crying emoji) about KD, he don’t like #drayover

On the contrary, Green targeting Nurkic was the most unwanted beef one could ask for in the NBA right now.

Nevertheless, for those who have not been following the Nurkic-Green conflict, this present conflict is not new. For months, the two renowned players have been having a heated exchange. It remains to be seen now how long this story escalates between the two players.
