Jimmy Kimmel roasted Draymond Green on live TV

The season has been full of ups and downs for the Golden State Warriors Draymond Green. The forward got into multiple altercations on the court and was even ejected multiple times. However, despite warning, Green crossed the line and ended up being suspended by the league. As the star was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host roasted Green for his antics.

On the episode, Draymond Green was discussing seeking therapy after the suspension. While revealing discussions with his therapist to avoid getting ejected, Green stated that he’s someone who ‘walks the line’. The four-time champion claimed ‘dipping his toe’ to inspect the situation. That’s when Jimmy Kimmel showed his wit and added,

Sometimes you're dipping your toe into another man's testicles. In a hard way.

Kimmel was hilariously referring to Green’s intense physical plays on his opponents. Green has previously accidentally or intentionally kicked his opponents in the groin. Kimmel made the perfect joke out of the situation as he twisted Green’s words.

After his repeated antics on the court, Green was suspended indefinitely by the league after striking Jusuf Nurkic. With the suspension, Green was also told to get counseling to prevent such behavior in the future. Green followed all the rules and was allowed to play again after a 12-game suspension.

Draymond Green expected to get booed at the Jimmy Kimmel Show

Considering his altercations, Green does not have the best reputation in the NBA. The former defensive player of the year gets on many fans’ nerves. Hence, unsurprisingly, Green gets booed at multiple arenas during the Warriors’ road games.

As the star appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, the host asked if the star enjoys the ‘villain’ persona. That’s when Green stated that he expected to get booed when he entered the late-night show. But nothing of the sort happened as the audience cheered Green instead.

I must say I thought I'd get booed walking out here. So, I really appreciate it.

Green further revealed that he gets booed at almost every arena except for two. However, the forward enjoys the treatment as it drives him to play better. Kimmel put Green in the spot constantly but the forward gave a fitting reply each time, which was expected from someone like Green considering his competitive attitude.
