SmackDown this week was crammed with chaos, with Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu being the anchors. They were shown brawling at the start of the show in the parking lot, where the Scot pulled out Fatu through the windshield of his car and started hammering down on the ‘Samoan Werewolf’.

The attack had opened up a gash across Fatu’s forehead, causing some bleeding also. McIntyre headed straight to the ring after being separated from Fatu. ‘The Scottish Psychopath’ vented out his frustration by asserting that he should’ve been the one to main event WrestleMania.

Nick Aldis entered the scene along with his security guards to declare that McIntyre was the most self-sabotaging person he had ever seen. Aldis even mentioned that the Ayr-born wrestler was constantly risking his job in the company with the way he’s been acting of late. The former 3MB member brought up how he quit WWE last week but came back as the company wouldn’t let him go.

McIntyre also took a dig at Aldis by saying his son should be ashamed of having such a corporate stooge of a father like Aldis. After vowing to wreak havoc all night, McIntyre saw a banged-up Jacob Fatu pull up, and the two of them got into a brawl yet again.

It ended with Fatu hitting a diving splash on McIntyre through the commentary desk, causing it to break. Later in the night, Solo Sikoa was reprimanding Tama Tonga and JC Mateo for losing the WWE tag team titles to Damian Priest and R-Truth.

Just as Tonga told Sikoa that he had started to sound like Roman Reigns, it got tense back there. However, out of nowhere, Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre went brawling past the MFTs. ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ sent McIntyre face first into a steel channel and also landed some punches on the 4-time WWE Champion.

McIntyre had the last laugh this time around when he put his fingers into Fatu’s eyes and didn’t take them off until the security intervened. But that wasn’t all from these two men for this week’s SmackDown.

In fact, they once again got into a brawl right in the dying minutes of the show after Randy Orton had decimated Matt Cardona in the ring. SmackDown GM Aldis had to run off to the spot where Fatu and McIntyre were shown fighting on the big screen.

The former Bloodline member smashed the Scottish Psychopath’s head into a guardrail, causing him to fall off the scaffold, but he took Fatu with him as well. Aldis and some crew members could only scream, as there was a barricade in front of them, so they were reduced to mere bystanders.

Fatu and McIntyre were originally scheduled for a singles match on SmackDown, which never got underway. It’s now obvious that they’ll duke it out with some sort of stipulation tied to their bout at WrestleMania 42.

What else happened on this week’s SmackDown?

There was a lot that went down on SmackDown this Friday. R-Truth and Damian Priest captured the WWE tag team titles from Tama Tonga and JC Mateo. In some more men’s tag team action, the Motor City Machine Guns picked up the win over Fraxiom after Candice LeRae interfered.

She clocked Nathan Frazer in the face without the referee seeing it. Chris Sabin rolled Frazer up to emerge victorious, but Alex Shelley didn’t look too impressed with that.

Aleister Black beat Sami Zayn after the latter got into ringside shenanigans with Trick Williams. The current WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill went back-and-forth with Rhea Ripley on the mic. ‘The Eradicator’ has had enough of the talking and wanted Cargill to take the first swing at her.

The former AEW star refused by saying she’ll do it on her time. As Cargill was heading to the back, Michin and B-Fab were walking up the ramp, and it seemed like the champ was in trouble.

However, in a shocking turn of events, Michin and Fab aligned with Cargill, and they inflicted a 3-on-1 beatdown on Ripley. Carmelo Hayes successfully retained his US title against Ilja Dragunov in an incredible match. It was Melo’s 8th title defense on SmackDown in a span of 91 days.

Kit Wilson and Jelly Roll engaged in a slam poetry battle in which Wilson joked about Ozempic working fine for Roll, with it helping the singer-rapper shed those 250 pounds.

Roll clapped back by saying he doesn’t have to see his willy as Wilson’s mom saw it for him. The celebrity doubled down on the insult by adding that he put his belly on her back. Wilson ambushed Roll when the latter had his back turned for the crowd approval. Wilson went up to the top rope and delivered a corkscrew elbow drop on the 41-year-old before screaming “toxic” multiple times on a grounded Roll.

They’re now set to wrestle one-on-one next week on SmackDown. The women’s tag team titles match between The Irresistible Forces and The Bella Twins ended in disqualification, with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss also getting involved.

Flair attacked Nia Jax to cause the DQ. The champs, Lash Legend and Jax, stood tall in the end. The main event of SmackDown saw Randy Orton decimate Matt Cardona after faking an apology for berating the latter in a backstage segment.
