This week on Raw, CM Punk brought his dog Larry with him for the first time at a WWE show. He posted glimpses of Larry’s visit on social media and got wholesome reactions. Of course that was until Drew McIntyre dropped an outrageous comment in the midst of his extremely personal rivalry, targeting not only Punk but also Larry.

Taking to X, The Scottish Warrior reacted to the backstage video of CM Punk and Larry with Triple H. McIntyre called The Best in the World an “inbred” along with some other explicit terms. Moreover, the insults didn’t stop there; he also referred to Larry as a “stupid” dog.

Both stars are going to be locked inside a Hell in a Cell next week at Bad Blood. Ahead of the match, Drew McIntyre vowed this week on Raw to make Punk bleed. The Second City Saint also gave a similar promo when he promised to bring back the best version of himself to take down McIntyre for good.

The series between the two stars is tied with a single win each. Hence, Bad Blood will serve as the culmination for this yearlong rivalry. That being said, it is certainly exciting to see how things are going to transpire between the two arch-nemeses in the final chapter of their saga.

CM Punk claims to be obsessed with his feud with Drew McIntyre

CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have been at loggerheads for a long time. They were throwing shots at each other on Raw even when The Best in the World was not medically cleared to compete. Recently, Punk commented about his dynamic with the Scottish Warrior and revealed how he was obsessed with this rivalry.

Speaking with 103.05 KISS FM, the former AEW star said that his rivalry with Drew is all he thinks about all the time. Therefore, he wants to move on from this after Bad Blood. Punk termed his ongoing rivalry with McIntyre as something close to “borderline obsession.”

The thing is that I absolutely don’t like Drew McIntyre. I want this to be all over with because it’s literally like all I think about. I’m almost borderline obsessed with it now. So, it’s like an ugly situation.

Moreover, he surprisingly heaped praise on The Scottish Warrior’s character, stating that it was his career’s best work. Taking a shot against the 39-year-old, Punk credited himself as the reason behind McIntyre’s wonderful character work. Besides, Punk was more excited than ever and teased that there are a lot of things in store for the fans in his upcoming clash with Drew at Bad Blood.
