“Cry more,” Former WWE Champion savagely trolls CM Punk by reminding him of The Rock’s 14-year-old prophecy
CM Punk had a disastrous weekend in Toronto, and it was quite evident by the grimacing look with which he showed up on Raw.

CM Punk stormed into the arena for Raw this week with vengeance on his mind. In one of the most scathing openers to a WWE show in recent memory, the Chicagoan unloaded on The Rock and John Cena. Punk called Dwayne Johnson a bald fraud—an insult that no one saw coming. But one of Punk’s great rivals, Drew McIntyre, believes he’s just coping.
The Scot quoted a reply to The Rock’s 14-year-old X post about CM Punk in which The Great One explained why he was in the main event of WrestleMania over the ex-AEW star. Rock boasted about making more money in a single night than Punk would draw in his lifetime. Fast forward to 2025, McIntyre has claimed that those words still hold true.
Referring to Punk’s rant on the Black Adam star in the opening minutes of Raw, Drew asked his nemesis to cry more. Furthermore, the Ayr-born wrestler said he’ll see Punk down the line. For the unversed, these two individuals had a trilogy of matches in 2024.
14 years on and still relevant. Cry more you bitch Punk. I’ll see you down the line. https://t.co/YdZoSnrIwG

McIntyre schooled The Best in the World at SummerSlam but was embarrassed in a strap match at Bash in Berlin. Everything boiled down to a decider. At Bad Blood, Punk and Drew moved earth and heaven inside Hell in a Cell to dish out a bloodbath. Even though The Straight Edge Superstar eventually got the job done, McIntyre’s effort wasn’t less commendable by any stretch.
CM Punk and Seth Rollins’ brawl stole the night on Raw
On Saturday, CM Punk was robbed inside the Elimination Chamber by Seth Rollins. The latter curb-stomped his former idol despite having been pinned already. Consequently, John Cena capitalized on a battered Punk. Last night, after the latter was done bashing The Rock and his cohort Cena for selling out to the TKO Board director, the 47-year-old turned his attention to Rollins.

The Second City Saint went personal after he brought Seth’s wife into the mix. Punk asked Becky Lynch to better take care of her man, or else he’d relegate The Visionary to a wheelchair. Shortly after that, Rollins came out. Once Punk realized there’s nothing left to talk about, he made a beeline for his so-called little brother, and a brawl was underway.

They were let loose until a slew of security personnel barged in to restore order. The struggle continued for a while as Punk and Seth were too obsessed with each other to stop swinging. At one point, the scrambling even spilled over to the ringside. Later on in the show, things escalated once again backstage.
By then, Raw GM Adam Pearce has had enough. He was left with no other choice but to announce a steel cage match between The Architect and The Best in the World for next week’s Raw at Madison Square Garden. Their previous one-on-one match headlined Raw’s Netflix debut, where Punk won.
