CM Punk has had a controversial yet legendary career in WWE, winning multiple championships. However, he never achieved his goal of main-eventing WrestleMania in his illustrious career. Many fans still blame The Rock for this, including one who recently claimed that he hated The Best in the World. After the comment caught Rocky’s attention, he responded with a fitting reply.

A fan posted a video on Instagram suggesting that The Rock still harbored strong resentment toward Punk. He claimed that The Brahma Bull would never allow Punk to main-event WrestleMania as long as he was involved in any way. Unfortunately for the fan, the video caught The Final Boss’s attention, and he responded.

Rocky debunked all the false rumors of animosity between both superstars and clarified that they were on good terms. The second point the 10-time world champion clarified was that the WrestleMania main event was decided on the basis of what was best for the long-term business. He concluded the message by calling him a clown.

First of all, Punk and I have become good buddies over the years. We’re solid. Secondly, whatever match making scenario is best for true long term (not short term) business success – that will be out Mania main event. Lastly, you’re clown.

On the latest episode of SmackDown, Punk, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins participated in the contract signing for their triple threat match at WrestleMania 41. Paul Heyman hinted at a possible WrestleMania betrayal on the latest episode of SmackDown

The Night 1 main event of WrestleMania 41 is set—a triple threat match between Roman Reigns, Punk, and Rollins. For The Second City Saint, main-eventing WrestleMania for the first time will be a milestone in his career. What made the moment even more special was that Heyman himself delivered the news. During the contract signing, the Hall of Famer hinted at what could unfold at The Show of Shows.

The Tribal Chief claimed that the 46-year-old veteran was in the main event of WrestleMania 41 because of him. Reigns then turned to Punk, demanding that he thank and acknowledge him for the favor. However, fans noticed Heyman quietly saying the word “don’t” when Reigns asked for acknowledgment. This hints that The Wiseman may not be fully loyal to his Tribal Chief at WrestleMania.

After CM Punk stated that this was not the favor he was owed, concern appeared on the faces of both Heyman and Reigns. It seems the mystery of the favor will only be revealed at WrestleMania. Many fans believe that Heyman will finally turn on Reigns and help Punk win at the Showcase of the Immortals.

The Second City Saint took to X, sharing multiple pictures of his journey as a WWE superstar. The photos captured his rise from backyard wrestling in Chicago to dominating the independent scene. Now, for the first time, he was set to main event WrestleMania in the world’s biggest wrestling company. Finally, the 46-year-old veteran stated that he didn’t just deserve it—he earned it through hard work.

Punk has delivered outstanding performances at WrestleMania, whether against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 29 or Randy Orton two years before, proving why he is called The Best in the World. Unfortunately, an injury kept him out of last year’s event. Now, after a decade, he is set to make his long-awaited return to WrestleMania.
