Many fans have complained that the Road to WrestleMania 41 feels a whole lot less exciting than last year. Of course, the absence of The Rock is definitely a huge factor in this. However, things may be about to take a huge turn, starting as early as tomorrow.
WWE recently announced that the Final Boss would be returning to the company tomorrow night on SmackDown in New Orleans. Shortly after the announcement, The Great One said in an Instagram comment that he was bringing a gift to New Orleans. Furthermore, he also stated that he was coming to create a lot of trouble for some particular person.
Social media users were incredibly excited to find out who the Hollywood superstar was talking about. The last time he was seen in WWE was during the debut episode of Raw on Netflix. During this appearance, he had seemingly reconciled with Cody Rhodes, and they no longer seemed to have any animosity between them.

Furthermore, the High Chief was also seen after the Tribal Combat match between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. While many expected him to turn on his cousin, quite the opposite happened. He presented the OTC with the Ula Fala. It is possible that both these conciliations could have just been a ruse. The 52-year-old may be talking about either his cousin or Rhodes in this Instagram comment.
What will The Rock do during his appearance on Friday Night SmackDown?
Now, neither WWE nor The Rock has revealed any details regarding this appearance. This could simply be a one-off cameo by the Hollywood superstar. Alternatively, he could be here to plant seeds for his next feud. This match could potentially take place as soon as WrestleMania 41.

His Instagram comment definitely seems to suggest that tomorrow in New Orleans, he will be announcing the venue for WrestleMania 42, which is rumored to be The Crescent City itself. However, Triple H‘s press release statement and The Brahma Bull’s announcement itself suggest that this is not all he will be doing.
It was recently announced that The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment would be playing the lead role in Martin Scorsese’s next film. Thus, he is probably too busy for a match in April. However, he could do something very similar to what he did prior to WrestleMania 28, which is announcing an upcoming match for WrestleMania 42 more than a year in advance.
