Popular Leading Video Game publisher, Electronic Arts has issued a seven-day ban for more than 30K FIFA 22 players for using an in-game glitch known as ‘No loss’ in Ultimate Team mode.

FIFA 22 has released at the very beginning of this month (October 2021) following a pre-load phase prior to the official release. This is the 29th instalment in the FIFA series, a series of association football video games developed and released annually by Electronic Arts under the EA Sports label. The latest instalment i.e., FIFA 22 was considered to be the best of all in the whole series which was released globally on October 2021.

According to Eurogamer, EA has revealed that had banned up to 30,000 current FIFA 22 players due to using an exploit in the Ultimate Team mode. Specifically, the 30,000 FIFA 22 gamers have been kicked out of the game and will not be allowed to play again till October 27.

The latest Ultimate Team hacks pretty much assured gamers a win if they exited the game correctly. In Ultimate Team’s Champion mode, players would quit FIFA 22 completely, return to their console’s main screen, and restart the game. This would not count as a defeat, letting participants advance through the mode without anyone ever seeming to lose a single round.

EA was quick to notice and act accordingly to the situation. But what makes it surprising is that EA lets the players keep the rewards that were earned using this approach. Nonetheless, the seven-day suspension is already in place, which means players impacted will be unable to compete in this weekend’s Ultimate Team Champions Finals. Within the FIFA community, there is some disagreement over whether this consequence is severe enough. Some have called it a “slap on the wrist,” because gamers get to keep the prizes they earned through abusing the flaw.
