New Chelsea goalkeeper Eduoard Mendy will not feature for Chelsea versus Southampton. Unfortunately Mendy suffered an injury which will prevent him from playing.
Eduoard Mendy started for Chelsea in the Premier League against Crystal Palace. He managed to keep a clean sheet in his first Premier League appearance.

Frank Lampard has confirmed that Eduoard Mendy will not be playing against Southampton. This is bad news for Chelsea as he was looking to settle in quite well. However it looks like they will have to revert back to either Kepa Arrizabalaga or Willy Caballero.
Frank Lampard has also provided an update on Hakim Ziyech. The Moroccan international us ok the squad and looks like will be making his Chelsea debut.
Chelsea will be looking to extend their winning run after a fabulous display against Crystal Palace. They won 4-0 before the international break settled in.
