In a recent interview with PC Gamer, Diablo 4 assistant game director Joseph Piepiora revealed how much time gamers would need to grind to complete the new Battle Pass. Right now, the battle pass, when you’re figuring in completing the season journey alongside doing other content in the game, you’re looking at roughly 80 hours worth of time invested to complete the entirety of the battle pass,”

Piepiora also added that to level a character to level 100, it could take a little longer, as it is based on how one plays. He also shed some light on how the Battle Pass system in Diablo 4 will work. The game will have various seasons, like its previous versions, and players will have to choose a new seasonal character every time. They will have to progress from Level 1 to Level 100 each time.

It seems that by engaging in the tasks presented in the endgame video and accomplishing goals in the “seasonal journey,” players can accumulate “favor” that will contribute to their advancement in the battle pass. The battle pass includes a complimentary option that provides XP boosts to all players and a paid version that exclusively offers cosmetic benefits.

It is possible to finish the Diablo 4 battle pass even before reaching the maximum level in the game each season, Piepiora adds. The player will get their money’s worth in the game as it follows a broader perspective.

Piepiora also said that players who want to skip the endgame can very much do so if they aren’t that keen on it. “But we’re not trying to say the only way to play Diablo 4 is to engage with the endgame and go all the way to level 100 with every character you ever make.”

Diablo 4 will release on June 6th to get a fare idea on how the game will play out download the beat and start grinding.
