How to acquire different Archetypes and swap between them in Remnant 2
To access the other Archetypes, you have to complete a series of tasks to gain their engram, which will directly lead you to their Archetype. Each Engram requires 10 Lumenite Crystals and 1,500 Scraps to be constructed. To acquire these archetypes, you have to go to Ward 13. There are activities to perform to get access to each variant, and these are the following:
Medic Archetype:
- Firstly you will have to go to Dr. Noah in Ward 13
- Choose the first conversation option from the three given options.
- After that, you will then encounter four conversation options and you have to select the first one again.
- Purchase a Medical Pin and interact with Wallace.
- Craft the engram using the Medical Pin.
- Congratulations! You have successfully unlocked the Medic Archetype.
Hunter Archetype:
- For this Archetype you will be required to talk to Barbus in Ward 13.
- You then have to buy a Rusty Medal from him by selecting the first option from your conversation just like you did before.
- As instructed above interact with Wallace after buying the Rusty Medal.
- Craft the engram using the Rusty medal.
- Congrats as you can now access Hunter Archetype in your inventory.
Handler Archetype:
- For Handler Archetype you will have to talk to Mudtooth in Ward 13.
- Choose the first option during the conversation.
- Purchase the Old Whistle.
- Interact with Wallace.
- Craft an engram using the item.
- Congratulations! You have now successfully unlocked the Handler Archetype.
Challenger Archetype:
- For this Archetype you have to interact with Rigs in Ward 13 as for all the other Archetypes.
- You have to buy the Steel Enswell from him and then interact with Wallace.
- Use the Steel Enswell to craft the engram.
- Voila! You have added Challenger Archetype to your inventory.
To swap Archetypes, select your Primary Archetype and a different Engram. You’ll switch to the new Archetype, likely at level one. You can also run a dual Archetype setup by choosing the Engram slot to the right of the Primary Archetype, though the Secondary Archetype won’t benefit from a Prime Perk. Experiment to find the best playstyle for you.
These are all the Archetypes that can be obtained without any in-game objectives, and you can find them and swap between them in your inventory. Some other Archetypes like the Explorer, Summoner, and Gunslinger Archetypes complete some in-game objectives that come up on your adventure.
These are the steps on how you can acquire different Archetypes in Remnant 2 and continue your adventure by conquering different levels. By swapping Archetypes, you can explore different playstyles and enjoy fresh experiences in the game. So, go ahead and experiment with various Archetypes to discover the one that suits your preferences best.
