The reason your Minecraft screen flashes “Multiplayer is disabled” is because of Privacy Settings on your Microsoft account. What you need to do is to configure it properly, so let’s take a look at how to fix it.

  • Open any browser on your PC.
  • Go to the official website of Microsoft.
  • Sign Into your account.
  • After signing in go to the top left of your computer screen and click on Your Info.
  • You have to verify that you are 18 years old or above. press save.
  • Come to the bottom of your screen and click on the XBOX logo.
  • Then open your Privacy Settings.
  • On the new page, you will notice all the settings are set to Block. Just reset to either Everyone or Friends. Press submit.
  • Then click on the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety.
  • Set every option to Allow.

Now log out of Minecraft and log back in again. The changes should take effect and you will be able to play Multiplayer without any issues.

Settings for Xbox

  • Open Xbox Home Screen
  • Then select Setting.
  • Go to account settings and locate Subscriptions.
  • Click on Subscription. It will show the Subscription status.
  • If it’s over, renew it.

Once renewed the game will not show the Multiplayer error anymore.

Settings for PlayStation

  • Open the PlayStation Home Screen.
  • Press on the PlayStation Plus Icon.
  • Find and click on the More option.
  • Click on Manage Subscription.

Similar to Xbox you need to renew the subscription if it has already expired. The page will also direct to an auto-renew option which will turn on the subscription. Minecraft players should make these changes to their preferred devices to have uninterrupted gameplay.
