Minecraft Championship (MCC) 28, all participants and teams announced

It’s battle time for Minecraft followers, as the MCC is returning for its final event in Season 2, the Minecraft Championship or MCC 28 holiday edition. This time, it’s a canonical event, as opposed to November’s special “half canon” event, and is set to begin on December 3, 2022, at 8 pm GMT.  This would be the last championship of the year, with the game making its return for season 3 in 2023. Although fans will undoubtedly miss MCC during its hiatus, they will be able to enjoy one final event packed with festive fun when MCC 28 takes place.

The 28th installment of the Minecraft tournament will take place as usual, with all scores and wins being counted, but it will also be decked out in winter magic. During the winter holiday season, viewers can expect to see sparkling trees, snow everywhere, candy canes, presents, and just about anything else that comes to mind.

Minecraft Championship 28 features a number of familiar content creators who have previously competed, as well as a few newcomers. Fans of these creators, who are active on multiple platforms including Twitch and YouTube, are undoubtedly excited to see them collaborate and compete. Here is the list of teams for MCC 28.

The holiday decorations will extend not only to the MCC hub but also to all of the mini-games chosen by the ten competing teams. This will be the first holiday-themed event since Meltdown and Parkour Warrior were redesigned and reintroduced, so viewers should keep an eye out for these two games if they are in the MCC 28 pool, especially given their holiday design.

As the event approaches, certain events may occur which would cause content creators to withdraw from the competition. As it currently stands some prominent creators, including Wilbur Soot, GeorgeNotFound, ElainaEXE, and Sapnap, have already experienced difficulties since the event’s announcement, and thus won’t be participating. Fortunately, there are many people in reserve who are willing to fill in as backups.

Yet, the current teams do look really good, and the audience is patiently waiting to see what happens in this MCC. There haven’t been any other announcements yet regarding what games would be there or if is there a twist. Keep checking our website out to stay updated.
