Minecraft: How to get Spruce wood
Craft Spruce Wood to craft bunch of items in Minecraft.
One of the essential building blocks in Minecraft is wood. It is used to craft a number of items. Since wood is easily accessible, players usually use it to build their first base. Spruce wood was added to Minecraft in January 2011. It is among the 6 different species of wood currently available in Minecraft.
It looks like a darker version of oak. However, leaves are a bit different. Leaves are denser, darker, and have a bluish tint on them. Regardless of the environment, they are found in, spruce leaves defy the foliage color laws of Minecraft and always remain the same color.
Here’s where you can find spruce wood and how to craft it in Minecraft.
Location of Spruce Trees in Minecraft
Spruce trees are not hard to locate in the game. There are a few places where you can find them. Players can find spruce trees in the taiga biomes in Minecraft. These trees, however, can also be found in the large tree taiga, snowy taiga, snowy tundra, and forested mountain biomes. You can cut these trees down to get spruce logs. Players can also gather pine, giant pine, and spruce logs from these trees. You can also find fallen varieties of these trees randomly.
Crafting Spruce wood
- First, you have to open your crafting table.
- Now in the 3×3 crafting grid, place 1 log each in the first 2 blocks of the first 2 rows. You will see spruce wood on the right-hand side of the 3×3 grid.
- Now drag the spruce wood into your inventory
Now you have spruce wood which you can build buildings or any other item you want in Minecraft. Spruce can be used to make largely boards and bark. It can also be used to make anything you can make from oak and other woods. Moreover, it can be used as fuel for a furnace, where it can be smelted into charcoal.
