Kenny Omega took to Twitter to announce the official message worldwide for fans. The game is all ready and set to be released on June 29, 2023. There was also a video message featuring the wrestler Kenny Omega where the announcement of the game was made as well. Kenny Omega is the perfect one to announce the game as his fans already know, Omega and Young Bucks love gaming very much.

Other than this, the company held a press conference to announce the same. AEW released details about the game’s features, gameplay modes, career mode, match type, and cooperative playing.

The first installment of the All Elite Wrestling video game series frequently cites the concept of aiming to complete a task effectively instead of doing it hastily. This could be the reason the game’s release dates were delayed. With that being said, there is no denying the fact that, giving yourself plenty of time to put in enough effort and make progress always pays off, despite taking an extended amount of time.

This game will include big names like Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Malkai Black, Sting, Britt Baker, MJF, and so on. The appearance of CM Punk is yet to be confirmed. It was first revealed that Punk would be on the cover of the game; however, after his potential departure after his altercation with Young Bucks and Kenny Omega, it is quite unlikely.

The game was developed by YUKE and published by THQ Nordic. They’ve delivered previously with the games for WWE and made a statement with sustained entertainment and immersive gameplay for about 20 years. Like in the real world, AEW is aiming to compete with WWE 2K23 with AEW: Fight Forever. That sets a high precedent and a goal that will take more than just talking to accomplish. With YUKE’s industry experience and dominance, AEW might pull through this competition.

YUKE has been in wrestling games for as long as the 1990s and is one of the biggest owners of Japan Pro-Wrestling. YUKE enjoyed ownership of about 54% until 2012. With all the muscles that AEW has been flexing with its resources, it would be a sight to see what happens next. When the game is finally released and goes toe-to-toe with WWE Universe’s game.

Fans will now just have to wait approximately a month to finally experience the game. The game looks quite promising, and it will be interesting to see how AEW: Fight Forever will do after the official release. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
