Whenever we think about Orgs that laid a foundation for what the eSports industry is today, a lot of names come to our minds. One of these prominent names is the FaZe Clan. FaZe clan was formed in 2010 and has become one of the oldest Orgs in the eSports industry. The organization has achieved numerous championships and has established itself as an established brand in the gaming and entertainment industry. However, the recent few months have been downhill for FaZe. From laying off 40% of its employees to now the Grace Van Dein drama, FaZe is going through a lot. Asmongold, a famous streamer, has given his take on the drama, too.

Since May 2023, Grace Van Dein and FaZe Rain have been feuding publicly. The conflict began when Rain criticized Van Dien’s signing to FaZe Clan. He labeled her as a “token” and accused her of being hired solely because of her gender. Van Dien accused Rain of sexism and misogyny. On May 29, Rain escalated the feud by releasing a video of his meeting with Van Dien. The video shows Rain confronting Van Dien about her criticism of him. During the confrontation, Van Dien walks out of the room, visibly upset.

Asmongold, the famous Twitch streamer, and YouTuber, has given his take on this drama. He reacted to the video released by FaZe Rain on his Zackrawrr Twitch channel. Asmongold visibly expresses anger towards Rain through his reaction and clips. He even titled his take on the video released by Rain “the most cringe video,” which further shows his anger.

On 31st May, Asmongold streamed and lashed out at the ongoing FaZe drama instead of reviewing Diablo 4 as planned. During reviewing the video that Rain released, he said,

“Crying about, ‘Oh, it hurt my feelings! Oh, they almost took my son away!’ B**ch, you almost took your mom’s son away from yourself! You want to talk about being logical, who put the pill in your f**king mouth What a f**king p**sy!”.

But he didn’t stop there; he further said,

“The reason why they are on his side is because she is a woman. That’s the reason why. And I can understand, like, the OGs in FaZe Clan – like, I’m going to just keep it real. I understand why they’re pissed off that she’s in FaZe. I’m going to keep it even more real. She shouldn’t f**king be in FaZe! She should’ve never been in FaZe!”

At this point, this infuriated Asmongold. He pointed out how Grace should have just left the Org & called everyone in the Org (the prominent members) “a bunch of d*ckheads.” Asmongold also refuted the argument made by people over how Grace’s emotional outburst was just ‘acting.’ Furthermore, he directly took a swipe at Rain claiming, “This guy is a f*cking d*ckhead man.”

Until now, Rain has not reacted to this yet. This drama may go on for a while, as Grace Van Dein has removed the tag of ‘FaZe‘ from her social media bio. Faze Clan expressed disappointment in Rain and stated that they are “taking steps to address the situation.” There’s time for this drama to cool down, and we will probably see more developments in the future.
